Challenge
In the run-up to the Milano 2026 Olympic Winter Games, British Ice Skating requested support in managing the complex international season of their long track athletes. With the team based in Canada but competing across Europe and North America, travel planning, budgeting and coordination required constant attention. We were asked to support the team throughout the season, helping to organise logistics, manage budgets, coordinate partners and assist with communication in the lead-up to the Games.
Project Management
Throughout the 2025–2026 season, we worked closely with British Ice Skating to support its long track programme in the build-up to the Olympic Games. With athletes based in Canada and competing worldwide, we managed much of the planning behind the scenes.
Our role covered travel and accommodation arrangements, budget monitoring, logistics and partner/sponsor coordination. We also supported partner selection and agreements, adapting to changing schedules to keep everything running smoothly and within budget.

Apparel & partnership Support
For the new season, we assisted in the coordination of the racing suits and team kit, working together with suppliers and the federation to make sure the design matched both performance requirements and brand guidelines.
We also supported the team in conversations with potential partners and sponsors, helping to evaluate options and align them with the long-term goals towards Milano 2026.

Result / Impact
The support during the 2025–2026 season helped create structure and clarity in a demanding Olympic year. With logistics, planning and communication under control, the athletes and staff were able to fully focus on performance. The collaboration also strengthened the connection between the team, partners and media in the lead-up to Milano 2026, ensuring the programme was not only well organised, but also visible and professionally presented.

Communication & Olympic Preparation
In the lead-up to the Games, we worked together with the British Ice Skating and TeamGB communication teams to coordinate content opportunities and media moments around the athletes. This included planning for social media, supporting interviews and making sure important milestones during the season were captured.
During the Olympic period in Milano, we were on site to support content creation and act as a direct link between athletes, media and the federation. By being present on location, we were able to respond quickly to PR requests and ensure that the athletes’ stories could be shared at the right moments.
