Challenge
We were approached by the marketing team from Brooks Running to manage the incredible event they were hosting in Barcelona. We were responsible for managing the budget, the travel logistics (flights and hotels), F&B, mini activations, activities and the overall experience for 100+ fantastic people. What a ride, or should we say run?!
Project Management
Working together with the Brooks internal team we strategically curated the agenda to fit their overall goals. A dedicated budget with all elements was created and different partners were approached to realise the different elements of the event. From lunches and dinners, panel presentations and interviews, to a visit to Park Guell and taking part in the Barcelona half marathon, it was a FULL weekend!
Event Management
After researching different accommodation options for the weekend, we came to a great agreement with the renowned Hotel Arts in Barcelona. We welcomed more than 150 guests and creatively made use of different spaces to facilitate activations and activities.
During the event, Jessie ran the marathon at least 3 times. Ensuring everyone was at the right place at the right time, answering all questions and being the #1 contact on speed dial for all internal and external guests and stakeholders, at least she was wearing Brooks running shoes.
